Recruitment Services

Who's the person behind the CV? Are they up to the specific core duties? Are they capable of providing enduring value to the team? What's their overall value proposition? Are they a good culture fit? Can I trust them? Are they worth the outlay? What are their longterm goals?

These are but a sprinkling of the usual questions that occur in leader's minds prior, during and after a hiring process. At Wellsteed Group, our highly analytical team well is versed in the subtleties of behavioural science: we take on the burden of finding top talent, providing you with the best possible candidate in a cost-conscious, time-sensitive manner.

Values and results-driven recruitment approach with a foundation in behavioural science.

You will not find a better value recruitment provider than Wellsteed Group.

Our commitment to sourcing you the best talent while providing a seamless and stress-free service is iron-clad.

As a business advisory consultancy, we have a deep understanding of organisational strategy and can assist in not just hiring talent, but building winning teams.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

CAPABILITY

Measuring skills, qualifications and competencies is the first aspect of good hiring. We look at candidates credentials, experience and complimentary skillsets to assess their suitability for the technical and practical undertakings of the role. We look at where they are in the present and what their potential points to.

CHARACTER

'Character' is the full sum of our personality, our behaviours, our outlook, our values and our philosophies. We'll apply behavioural science to discern what lies beneath someone's facade, to try and discover who they truly are.

CULTURE-FIT

'Culture Fit' is really important for the longevity and productivity of your hire. Just because someone is a 'great person' doesn't always mean they'll be in sync with the rest of your team. Having the experience and track record, doesn't automatically immunise from being a management challenge either. This means we'll look deeply into what a candidate brings to the table and we'll assess if that's compatible with your vision, values, culture and team harmony.

Wellsteed Group recruits for a range of white collar and blue collar roles, spanning the full spectrum from senior management to entry level.

PROCESS:

1. MEETING

We'll sit down and discuss with you the vision and values of your company, the intricacies of your upcoming vacancy and gain an understanding of your ideal candidate and establish the selection criteria.

2. CREATION OF JD AND ADVERTISING MATERIALS

We take care of creating and advertising the vacancy, including the job description, sourcing candidates from a range of means including job boards, websites and through our networks. The copywriting here is incredibly important and plays a key role in how the market will interact with your opportunity.

3. LAUNCH CAMPAIGN

The first week of any campaign is critical and we will commence screening immediately to ensure good and prompt service to candidates. Some candidates may be towards the end of their job search and are in the midst of considering offers, so its important to make contact with suitable candidates quickly, regardless of how long the campaign has been advertised for.

4. REVIEW APPLICATIONS

We then review the applications (CVs, Cover Letters etc) of every applicant, moving onto refining candidates further through a full interviewing processes (stages 1, 2 & 3).

5. SHORTLISTING OF CANDIDATES

We then shortlist the best candidates as finalists, and engage in reference checks before we offer our 'best fit' to management for their decision.

6. APPOINT A CANDIDATE

We'll present the top candidate(s) to management for their final interviews. Is Management is happy to proceed with a candidate we can then move to negotiation.

7. NEGOTIATION

Some roles are fairly uncomplicated when it comes to fine-tuning remuneration packages, while others can get very complicated - particularly when commission, bonuses, salary sacrifice or other perks come into play. We can help advance your best interests, finding the right balance between employee and employer needs. We'll negotiate on your behalf from an independent and unemotional frame to ensure a professional and effective negotiation.

Often, the situation will mean dealing with strong candidates who are in the process of multiple job applications and we work with the client, negotiating on their behalf to secure the best candidate from the current pool, away from competitors.

Once this is complete we'll hand the candidate over to you for all the onboarding paperwork.

8. FOLLOW UP

We'll follow up with the candidate and the employer at the 1 week, 1 month and 3 month mark. â€‹

FAQ:

Do you also 'Headhunt'?

Yes. We're happy to take on any Headhunting or Executive Search assignment and can tailor rates exclusively to the client and their objectives. â€‹

Can the advertising campaigns be anonymous?

Often clients will not wish their hiring to be too 'public' and alert their competitors. Using a recruiter like Wellsteed Group, we'll keep it as private as possible, disclosing details only when they're absolutely required. Likewise, we can advise if it makes sense for your business/organisation to be open from the offset in advertising materials and outreach. Whatever your desire, we'll tailor the approach.

Can you advise further on resourcing problems and internal structure challenges?

Yes. As part of our strategic planning and business advisory services, we work with leaders to optimise and right-size their teams to maximise impact while conserving resources. In the recruitment space we can advise on how your organisational structure affects productivity and performance, and we can apply a range of methodologies to work out your 'best-fit', in-line with any strategic goals. Not many recruiters can say they offer this and it's a real point-of-difference in choosing Wellsteed Group.

Can you guide us on market salaries and other trends?

Absolutely. Part of our consultation period is to advise you on where your vacant position's preferred salary package rests in market. We can also advise at what level, commensurate to their experience and the market, remuneration and other perks should be pegged at to attract the best candidate. With Wellsteed Group's in-house market research expertise, we can provide excellent insights to make better recruiting decisions and can provide innovate remuneration structures and incentivisation schemes that encourage performance and retention.
