The founder of Wellsteed Group, Ben has spent the last 16 years helping businesses and orgnisations succeed by challenging orthodoxies, championing innovation and pursuing practicality.
Bucking the trend of creative and analyst types being intrinsically different beasts, Ben fuses together both creativity and fastidious analytical rigour - all firmly grounded in the real world. This offers clients a unique ability to see through ambiguity and complexity to generate feasible and practicable solutions.
When not working Ben enjoys spending time with his family, getting out on the ocean, exercising his passion for carpentry and writing/recording music.
He graduated from the University of Western Australia.
Steven brings over 30 years experience in leading and managing teams across professional, not-for-profit, academic, pastoral care and ministry contexts to Wellsteed Group.
He has a particular interest in effective counselling, conflict resolution, dealing with difficult personalities, improving team dynamics, and fostering better communication within teams and organisations.
A published author and accomplished public speaker, Steven has six university degrees including two Masters degrees and a PhD in Biochemistry.
As Wellsteed's chief advisor to the mining and mining services clients, Jake brings more than ten years of experience in open pit and underground mining operations to the team.
Through an extensive network of startups and research institutes, he helps deliver connections between the world's leading mining companies and the foremost emerging capabilities.
Owning and successfully managing a mining-focused consumables business has given Jake strong insights into procurement behaviours and strategic decision making from the operational level to the C-Suite of the mining sector.
Mike is an experienced analyst & consultant, with over a decade spent solving energy, agricultural, public policy and economic problems.
Experienced in data analytics, forecasting, spatial data analytics, remote sensing and statistical modelling, he brings to the team a wealth of knowledge and capability in the technical space.
In his spare time Mike enjoys boxing, grilling and cross-country.
He holds two Masters degrees from Murdoch and Penn State Universities, alongside further degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder.
